With the Phoenix, we took traditional design boundaries and eagerly waited for the market response.  And since the time of its launch over 2 years ago, the Phoenix has become by far Grayboe’s best-selling commercial stock.  So, we decided to design a hunting stock with some of the same design principles, and the Eagle Stock was, well… hatched. As a result, the Eagle Stock takes the best features of the Phoenix and creates a lightweight, feature-heavy hunting riflestock.

A New Stock

Firstly, the Eagle Stock has everything you need on a hunting riflestock.  Therefore, the stock material is designed to take the harshest of environments, with no bending or warping in tougher conditions.  Secondly. it’s light, strong, and naturally absorbs recoil for those large, heavy-kicking calibers and the stock remains at a neutral temperature in extremely hot or cold environments.

“Grayboe has gone all in on making our stocks universal” states Ryan McMillan, Grayboe’s CEO.  In other words, with all the different barrel contours and Remington clones on the market, anyone who doesn’t have an off-the-shelf Remington AWR or SPS is going to have to get some modifications done to their aftermarket stock, and modifications cost time and money.  But, these modifications are not the only extra fees a customer pays. Subsequently, these modifications slow down the manufacturing process driving the base price of the stock up; a two-for-one bad deal for the customer.  The development of the Eagle Stock is another step in the advancement of Grayboe’s universal philosophy.  For example, whatever barrel you have, whatever Remington clone you have, it will fit without any interference or modification.  In short, Everything drops right in.

Advantages of universality:

  • Simplified buying process
