no it will fit any stock inlet for a factory savage DBM bottom metal. You are correct on the top bolt release and 4.4" spacing.

Unfortunately not, as our long CIP DBM is an M5 footprint, which is totally different than the Savage footprint

yes it is if you have the top bolt release on your rifle.

I have a McMillan stock on a Model 10 that fits the factory Savage 5 and 10 round mags with the factory bottom metal fit perfectly. Does this retain the same general form as the factory bottom metal?

Yes it does, your rifle will need to have a top bolt release for it to work.

Will this fit any factory Savage Rifle stocks?

it depends on what model rifle you have and if you have a top or bottom bolt release on the rifle.
