What size screws are you using to mount the buttpad and spacers? I ordered more spacers to accommodate the eye relief for my optic and the screws aren't long enough to seat in the stock. I'll need the same size, just longer. Thanks,
your local hardware store should have longer screws if you need them. the thread is 10-32.

I have been completely satisfied with my phoenix from day 1. I took it out on a 2 week moose hunt in the thick thorny interior Alaska this fall. It was subjected to Miles and miles of thick brush busting and was wet nearly the entire time. The stock itself shows no sign of wear after all That. The recoil pad was a different story. About half of that supple soft padding wasn’t able to make it back home with the rifle. The devils club and raspberry thorns decided to rip some off to keep for a souvenir. This replacement pad seems to be just a tad more firm. I think that will result in this pad being a little more durable. The stock/rifle still performed flawlessly when that opportunity presented itself and helped me connect with a nice bull.
