Little disappointed

This is my second Phoenix. I have the original and they’ve definitely improved the stock but there’s also a few things I’m disappointed in. I expected to have a level bubble. Also, I’m not sure if quality control is starting to go down hill but my Hawkins Hunter dbm fit perfectly into the original Phoenix. My bottom metal on the new Phoenix is probably 1/8-1/4 away from being flush on this stock. Tried two different bm. I’ve had to sand the inletting removing some material to make the inletting deeper. Pillars make it more difficult. I expected it to be more like my original with the improvements
